Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz/jre/Linux/1.6.0/lib/i386/xawt/libmawt.so

R12.1.1 rapidwiz not able to open Installation window on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5 even after successful completion of all pre-requisites.

The error message while running rapidwiz:

Solution:

Install rpm's libXp-1.0.0-8.1.el5.i386.rpm and Sysstat-7.0.2-3.el5.i386.rpm with force option and run rapidwiz again it should solve the issue.

I encountered same issue on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5u4 and 5u5. This same can be applicable to other linux environments too.

Yes sir! this was my issue also. I use yum, so i removed libXp and sysstat and reinstalled. I then reinstalled openmotif (it is a dependencay of removing libXp). launched fine afterwards. You helped me alot. thank you!

Thanks. I managed to solve above issue. I mounted linux ISO. Installed the packages above as well as missing dependencies and all went fine. I was about to reinstall my Oracle Linux! You are the best!

Oracle Applications R12.2 Installation on Linux using virtual box

Oracle E-Business suite R12.2 is released a month ago. I received too many requests from my followers to demonstrate this Installation. This is a step by step detailed article for Installing Oracle E-business suite R12,2 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.7 (64-bit). I've used oracle virtual box for Installing Linux.
