There is a requirement to Install one-off patch on Developer Oracle Home of EBS R12.1.3 cloned Instance. opatch was unable to locate the Inventory. When we check the Inventory 10.1.2 Home is not included. Pre-requisites  check for Oracle Database 12c failing on configuration of kernel parameters. Since version 11gR2 oracle Installer will generate fix-up scripts for those parameters which can be fixed by running fix-up scripts.  Pre-requisite check failed for kernel parameter "project.max-shm-memory" . - Execute the fix-up script from root user and check fix-up result. The fix-up result is successful but if we check again the pre-requisites are failing on the same kernel parameter. In solaris 9/10 we need to reboot the server for kernel parameters to be effective.  In Solaris 11 exit the Installer, then open new session with oracle user with which Installing the database, start the Installer and here it should read the newly configured kernel parameter. I was trying to add Oracle Solaris 11.2 Host in Oracle EM 12cR4. The OMS Server is Installed on Linux-64bit. There was no agent available to deploy it on the Solaris host. In this article will demonstrate how to install download and install the unavailable agent software on EM12c OMS Server in an offline mode. Login to EM12c console and navigate: Setup >> selfupdate >> Agent Software It will list down all available agent software's.  If the agent software is available then you need to download the required patch and apply it in a offline mode.
