Installing patch 7429271 - AD: Patch 11i.AD.I.7:
Pre-patch Steps:
- Verify version of Perl minimum it should be 5.005
- Check FNDLOAD executable is present in $FND_TOP/bin
- Enable maintenance mode
Apply this mini pack on both the nodes Including Arabic patch
Post-Patch Steps:
- Copy adgrants.sql script from patch_top/admin/ directory to RDBMS $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/admin
- Run script as below:

The script failed due to lower version of java on Server. Follow mentioned below steps in order to upgrade JDK 1.5 in Oracle Application 11i. After upgrading java patch pre-validation script completed with result as Success.
Upgrade java on Database and Application nodes:
- Copy “jdk-1_5_0_22-solaris-sparc.tar.Z” file on Servers
- Unzip and Install java as mentioned below:

- After successful completion of java Installation on both nodes, verify the version of java.
- Install patch “4372996” on both the nodes, all pre-requisites patches are already exists on the Instance.
- Run java upgrade script on both nodes as mentioned below:

- Regenerate the appsborg2.zip File & Product JAR Files with adadmin utility.
Adadmin main menu -->Generate Applications Files menu --> Generate product JAR files
Select YES for force regeneration of all jar files.
- Verify whether jdbc drivers upgraded or not:
* 115.27 (for jdbc14.zip), 115.42 (for jdbc12.zip), or 115.47 (for jdbc111.zip) for JDBC Drivers version 9.2.0.8.

- After Upgrading java Install patch using adpatch option udriver file for ATG_RUP7
- When Installation of RUP7 completed successfully, install all post and known issue patches.
- After successful Installation of family pack, Install post application patches as applicable:
