Solaris 11 : svc:/system/filesystem/minimal:default (minimal file system mounts)

The system was not coming up for a few of the critical services went into maintenance mode. In this article, we will see how we can fix this issue. Login to the OS in maintenance mode:
Enter user name for system maintenance (control-d to bypass): root
Enter root password (control-d to bypass):
single-user privilege assigned to root on /dev/console.
Entering System Maintenance Mode

Check the services impacted:
root@ijrpscrm-p-w2:~# svcs -x
svc:/system/filesystem/minimal:default (minimal file system mounts)
 State: maintenance since 2023-02-22T12:41:29
Reason: Start method exited with $SMF_EXIT_ERR_FATAL.

using svcadm clear the service errors:
root@ijrpscrm-p-w2:~# svcadm clear svc:/system/filesystem/minimal:default
After executing this reboot the OS and you should be able to login to OS without any further issues with related to services.

Enable Desktop on Oracle Solaris 11.4

Oracle Solaris 11 installation has multiple options to choose for installation of an Operating Environment, but mostly Oracle Solaris text install media is used and this installation media doesn't offer the GUI Desktop Environment by default after the installation. This blog post will explain how we can enable the desktop for Oracle Solaris 11.4 operating system, after the completion of installation. We have to install "solaris-desktop" package and reboot the machine and GUI desktop will be enabled for the Operating System. Oracle Applications R12.2 Installation on Linux using virtual box

Oracle E-Business suite R12.2 is released a month ago. I received too many requests from my followers to demonstrate this Installation. This is a step by step detailed article for Installing Oracle E-business suite R12,2 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.7 (64-bit). I've used oracle virtual box for Installing Linux.
