Using Solaris 11 Live Media in Oracle Virtual Box

This is a step-by-step article for using Oracle Solaris 11 X86 Live Media in Oracle Virtual Box (Vbox).

Steps:

1.  Download Oracle Solaris 11 Live Media
2.  Create virtual machine for using Live Media
3.  Start and configure virtual machine

Step 1: Download Oracle Solaris 11 Live Media

- Download software from Oracle Website

Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 Live Media for x86


The Live Media provides administrators with an opportunity to explore the Oracle Solaris 11 environment without installing it on a system. The system boots off the media directly allowing administrators to start the installer should they choose to install it to a system.

 Step 2: Create virtual machine for using Live Media

Step 3: Start and configure virtual machine

- Power ON the virtual  and follow steps

Sir Please give me the access to this page which solaris11 live media file download link is mentioned as i am not able to find out live media on solaris looks like it's no more required as per Oracle Sun's saying . Please help me Sir.

Oracle Solaris 11 installation has multiple options to choose for installation of an Operating Environment, but mostly Oracle Solaris text install media is used and this installation media doesn't offer the GUI Desktop Environment by default after the installation. Oracle Applications R12.2 Installation on Linux using virtual box

Oracle E-Business suite R12.2 is released a month ago. I received too many requests from my followers to demonstrate this Installation. This is a step by step detailed article for Installing Oracle E-business suite R12,2 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.7 (64-bit). I've used oracle virtual box for Installing Linux.
