Oracle EBS R12.2 rapidwiz - RW00022

We have encountered error while Installing Oracle E-business suite R12.2 using rapidwiz. All pre checks were completed successfully. We even verified the OS pre-req checks using RDA utility.

The following is the error from rapidwiz logfile:













Cause:

There user was not able to create sub directories under the main directory.

Solution:

Change the ownership &  permissions for all subdirectories recursively and restart the rapidwiz it should complete without any warnings/Errors.

This issue was reported on Solaris 11.4 sparc OS.

The below article is step by step procedure to Install oracle E-Business suite R12.1.1 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.6 (32-bit) using vmware server 2 on windows 7 64 bit. This is a single node Installation. Oracle Solaris 11 installation has multiple options to choose for installation of an Operating Environment, but mostly Oracle Solaris text install media is used and this installation media doesn't offer the GUI Desktop Environment by default after the installation.
